Integrity, service, quality… these are the common threads that weave several companies together to create the fabric that is Ferran Services & Contracting Inc. of Orlando Florida.
Ferran began in 1967 when Harry A. Ferran, an Orlando native and fifth generation Floridian, purchased Ward Air Conditioning, followed by a purchase of Johnson Electric (founded in the 1910’s) in 1981. He merged them thus creating Ferran Engineering Group Inc. Harry’s goal was to make FEG the definitive choice for service and installation in Central Florida and in 1982 he created Avery Plumbing to complete our family of services. The operation was extended to Volusia County with the purchase of D.W. Browning-Plumbing and Air Conditioning and the Orlando and Volusia locations remain the foundation for the company as it is today.
New Leadership, Continued Excellence
After Harry Ferran’s death in 1993, his son hired Adolph “Dolph” Marmetschke to take over Operations. After successfully growing the company for seven years, Dolph bought Ferran Services & Contracting in 2000. With strong leadership, Ferran Services & Contracting Inc, has continued to grow and prosper; holding on to the very best of our past while becoming a powerhouse in each of our chosen industries.
In June of 2006, construction of our new facility began on the existing property. A year to the day later, Ferran Headquarters held our Grand Opening in a building that has been touted as one of the most iconic of Orlando’s skyline. With a new corporate culture and a dedication to always strive for the highest performance standards, Ferran has continued to flourish throughout the economic highs and downturns of the past decade.
